Abstract
Objective:To investigate the value of peripheral tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)and interleukin-10(IL-10)in diagnosis and treatment monitoring in children. Methods: In accordance with Diagnosis and treatment scheme for neonatal sepsis made in 2003,fifty-seven children with were selected to detect the serum level of TNF-α and IL-10 by double-antibody sandwich-ELISA.Results: With disease progress and death,IL-10 level obviously increased(P0.01).IL-10 level and IL-10/TNF-α were significantly higher in severe cases than healed and curative cases(P0.01).Conclusion: IL-10 level and IL-10/TNF-α had certain clinical value in treatment monitoring and prognosis judgement of in children.
