Analysis and countermeasures for China′s fire responses based on fire cases

112 cases of serious fires chosen from the 1998-2003 year book of China Fire Statisticsand the 2004-2007China Fire Year Bookare analyzed.There is detailed in formation of fire response of these cases.The main and important fire response problems existed in these cases are summarized and analyzed.The reasons resulted in these problems are analyzed and related countermeasures should be used to avoid the occurrence of these problems are given according to the theories of fire occurrence and development,life safety public education and fire safety management.The results can be the basis of the study on assessment of city fire safety protection capability,and also can be the reference to related fire management organizations to constitute the measures of plan,design,construction,management and maintenance of fire covers.
