Overview of factors that influencing nose-lip-chin soft tissue profile

Abstract
To a great extent,the pleasing soft tissue profile is dependent on the harmony of nose-lip-chin relationship. A lot of factors including growth and development,ethnicity,gender,hard tissue,orthodontic treatment and orthognathic surgery can influence the nose-lip-chin soft tissue profile. This review discusses these factors in order to guide orthodontists make accurate prediction about soft tissue changes in clinical practice.
