Abstract
Based on properties of the memory programmed hydraulic control system for height adjustment of shearer's drum, a novel model of unequal action areas in a hydraulic pressure cylinder is established. With regard to the shearer's patterns and traction speeds, a mode called `dense excavation and sparse storage' is applied. Accordingly, the height of drum's positions is used for memory recovery control. Furthermore, the mechanism simulation diagrams of hydraulic control system are attained. In this manner, the digital simulation is conducted using Matlab SimulinkTM. Therefore, this approach paves a new venue for system design and dynamic property analysis.
