Regeneration Measures of Shelter Belts for Farms in Three North Area of Jilin Province

Abstract

The main regeneration measures of shelter belts for farms in Three North area of Jilin Province include belt regeneration, full belt regeneration, alternate belt regeneration, overall forest regeneration, regeneration by new forest belt afforestation in front of all belt and regeneration by reforestation. The measures and sequences of regeneration were introduced in this paper. Regenerating rotation cutting measures of shelter belts for farms in towns were also discussed.
