Abstract
Artistic is a unique concept in traditional Chinese aesthetics.Compared with the Western advocation of and science,the part it plays in Chinese art can not be ignored.As an emotional art,the Chinese art is one where the spirit and the reality are combined with the emphasis on the emotions and feelings revealed from pictures.With the proposal and deepening of the concept artistic conception,the Chinese art evolves from the harmony between the heaven and man to the where self is a conscious being,conforming to the Chinese Tao to form its own connotations.As such a conception must coexist with a physical being,the unity of form,spirit,emotion and reason becomes an indispensable part of the Chinese culture of artistic conception.
