Abstract

The coagulation characteristic of PAFC was used to treat papermaking and dyeing wastewater, the optimum conditions such as dosage of PAFC, pH, agitating intensity and time were obtained. Results demonstrated that PAFC isn't superior to PAC and PFS in such flocculate characteristics as the dosage of PAFC and the ratio of deturbidity of wastewater, but its removal efficiency of COD, which reaches 82.53% and 90.58% respectively, is apparently higher than that of PAC and PFS. After managed by PAFC, the water quality can meet the national criteria.
