Abstract
Summary:Enterococcus faecalis is the normal flora in body, but after root canal therapy, persistent infection and rein fection are usually inspected.Enterococcus faecalis is the main pathogenic bacteria leading to failure in therapy. At pres ent,Enterococcus faecalis in the infected root canal cannot be cleaned completely by conventional mechanical prepara tion and root canal irrigation in therapy. The antibacteria effect of several canal disinfection methods on Enterococcus fae calis were reviewed in this paper.
