Abstract

With the good performance,polyurethane foam is used widely in different fields.Although it gives the convenience to production and life,it causes fire hazards.Reducing the flammability of materials has great significance in preventing fires and reducing fire losses.the mechanism of polyurethane flame retardant is described,and several flame-retardant methods and the typical flame retardants used in polyurethane foam are reviewed,New efficient and environmentally friendly flame retardant used in polyurethane foam is a natural trend.
