Abstract

In highly heterogeneous fluvial reservoir modeling, how to integrate 3D seismic data is a key problem.Based mainly on geostatistics and seismic inversion,a new method of integrating seismic, logging and geological data was discussed in the paper.Taking the Dagang oil field for example, the quantitative reservoir geological model was established.Through analyzing acoustic impedance volume obtained from logging constrained seismic inversion, the 3D variogram was obtained, and the distribution model of sand body was established using Universal Kringing simulation method with external drift.Taking this sand body model as facies-controlling conditions,a reservoir property model was proposed. Results indicate that this method can effectively avoid mismatches between reservoir property distribution and lithofacies distribution, which is commonly caused in conventional reservoir modeling methods, and can get reasonable conclusion in consistent with geological knowledge.
