Abstract
The importance and operating principle during locomotive operation of the clearance between hollow shaft and wheel axle, and between hollow axle and its bush inside full suspension driving equipment for hollow axle wheel set motor were analyzed. The design and implementation in DF9 and DF11 locomotives of the clearance inside driving equipment were presented.
