Abstract
In this paper, the study history of hydrographic characteristics in the Taiwan Strait in recent fifty years are summarized, in which the research and survey results of temperature, salinity, current, water mass, thermocline and halocline, oceanic front etc. in recent twenty years are mainly introduced.
