Wang Yangming and a New Perspective of Guizhou

Wang Yangming lived in Guizhou for less than two years and he had fewer students in central Guizhou who were not familiar to Huang Zongxi.Even so,records in Scholars of the Ming Dynasty Confucians are not the case.Huang Zongxi disregarded the scholars of Wang Yangming possibly because of Qian Dehong.Japanese scholar Yongfu Qingdi provided us with rich precious documents.Due to the spiritual depression and confusion at the beginning of Wang Yangming's arrival in Longchang,he devoted all the mental energy to Dao,producing the innovative thought of Longchang Realizing Dao.With the improvement of political treatment and gradual understanding of the society in middle Guizhou,Wang Yangming quickly moved his attention to the local basic education and cultural popularization.So we can say that the aim of Wang Yangming's lectures is not spreading Wang's ideas but popularizing cultural education,which is the most precious spiritual wealth left for Guizhou by Wang Yangming.
