Abstract
Narratology is a new branch in the literary theory.Narrative theory focuses on the study of the narrative techniques,the narrative structure and the types of reading,and it provides a theoretical framework for the understanding narrative structure in a scientific way.This article tries to analyze Hemingwei's text of A DAY'S WAIT by looking into the narrative techniques——text structure,time,situation and voice.
