Abstract
Objective To study the variation of influenza virus in order to prevent the influenza efficiently. Methods The specimens were inoclulated into embryonated chicken eggs and MDCK cell. Afterward, all virus strains were identified. Results Of 40 influenza virus strains obtained in 1998, type H 3N 2 were 39 strains and type B 1 strain; of 70 influenza virus strains obtained in 1999, type H 3N 2 were 36 strains and type B 34 strains, of them, 1 type H 3N 2 and 1 type B were elected as representative virus strains in our country. The antibody level of type H 1N 1, H 3N 2 and B virus strains in general population in Shenzhen was above 50. Conclusion There was no influenza epidemic occurred in these two years. A great more attention should be paid on the new variation from distributive patients.
