Abstract

There were three generations of video monitoring system,which were analog video monitoring system,digital video monitoring system based on PC and remote digital network video monitoring system based on video server.The application of system includes digital video coding and network transmitting protocols.The system could be used in monitoring and alarming of department and monitoring and protecting of public area.
