Abstract
The effect of five pesticides against Liriomyza trifolii was tested in the field. The results showed that all the pesticides had certain control effect and 50% cyromazine WP 2 500 times had the best control effect of 79.45% on the 10th day; then 2% emamectin-benzoate ME 3 500 times, 1.8% avermectins EC 2 500 times and 5% chlorfluazuron EC 1 500 times had good control effect over 50% on the 10th day. The control effect of 3% acetamiprid WP 3 000 times was worse, which was lower than the other four pesticides. All the pesticides were safe to the tested crop without harmful effects.
