Abstract
The esterase isozyme and soluble protein of 15 different A.bisporus strains were analysed with polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. Both the esterase isozyme and soluble protein electrophoresis indicated genetic difference among 15 different A.bisporus. Then the genetic similarity was analysed by UPGMA based on the esterase isozyme and soluble protein gel electrophoresis. The result shows that according to the esterase isozyme gel electrophoresis, all strains collect together at the level of 77%; and according to soluble protein electrophoresis, all strains collect together at the level of 94%. All the results show that electrophoresis analysis of esterase isozyme and soluble protein, especially esterase isozyme, is a useful supplementary means for the classification of A.bisporus at the level of species.
