Abstract
This article use the PSCAD-EMTDC software to build a model of AC and DC transmission system which make the AC and DC transmission line on the same tower. Analysis the hybrid line' s overvoltage level and its trends when the DC transmission line under the single-pole ground fault. Design different arrangement modes of AC transmission line,whether the AC transmission line exchange the transposition to simulate the overvoltage of same tower system. Also make the DC transmission line on the different fault condition,different operation modes and different length to simulate the overvoltage of the single-pole ground fault of the DC transmission line. Through the model simulation and data analysis,it should draw the size and trend of transmission line' s overvoltage,and analyze the reason of the change of overvoltage.
