Abstract
In engineering blasting, the rock crushing zone around the hole is shattered excessively by most of the explosive energy. This paper analyzed the hole wall pressure of deep hole hydraulic blasting by numerical simulation. Simulation results show that deep hole hydraulic blasting can reduce the peak pressure of the hole wall as well as the quasi static pressure and largely avoid or reduce the existence of the blasting shatter zone, obviously increasing the explosive energy utilization.
