Metaphor and Lu Xun's Evaluation on Feng Zhi

Lu Xun's evaluation,which came from his general understanding of Chinese modern poetry and his anticipation of literature and art,has brought fame to Feng Zhi,whose works of poetry,from this point of view,were well consistent with the Lu Xun's artistic preferences for poetry. Both of them began a new reflection on the deficiency in the tradition of Chinese Poetry. The efforts made by Lu Xun and Feng Zhi through the use of metaphor,have accelerated the self-renewal of native modern poetry and greatly promoted the development of Chinese new poetry.
