Abstract
In rapid development of the world economy, many countries generally face the energy bottleneck. It is a definite trend that the ratio of oil, coal and other non-renewable energy in the whole energy consumption decreases gradually. In the mean time, all of the countries are focusing on renewable energy, which is the rational choice for the sustainable economic development. Solar energy, wind energy, tidal energy, geothermal energy, hydropower, biomass energy, nuclear energy and other renewable energy grow fast. China, India and other developing countries are running in the front in renewable energy development, while many developed countries are turning to renewable energy development. The cost of renewable energy is higher than traditional energy, so it is necessary for the government to give policy support. The experience of developed countries showed that the quota is more feasible. In addition, green trading, innovative financing mechanisms and financial incentives and relevant system design also can be taken, to ensure the sustainable development for renewable energy.
