Abstract
During the transformation period of China society,the peasant workers have become a special social group that is distinct from the farmers and townspeople.They have made important contributions to industrialization,urbanization,and modernization.However their working environment and living conditions also need to be further improved and more attention should be paid to their legal rights and interests.
