Abstract
Objective To induce HBsAg specific humoral immunity by DNA vaccine. Methods BALB/c mice were immunized with the eucaryotic expression plasmid encoding HBsAg, using plasmid pcDNA3. 1 as control. Two boosters were given 1 and 3 weeks after immunization. Results HBsAb was detect-ed out in experimental group 2 weeks and reached a peak value 2 months after immunization, but no HBsAb was detected out in control group. However, neither HBsAg was detected out in the 2 groups. Conclusion Hepatitis B DNA vaccine can induce specific humoral immunity in mice.
