Abstract
Current conditions of 64 nationwide fitness communities of small towns in the south of Jiangsu province were investigated with the methods of modern social investigation. Results showed that fitness (information) service was relatively bad,sports organization and management were lack of scientific methods and fitness apparatus were not safe in these communities.
