Abstract
The mobile AD-HOC network (MANET) becomes significantly important in the areas of emergency relief and mili-tary use. The communication needs of the newly arising generalized ad hoc network makes the technique even more popular. As the most welcomed AD-HOC network routing protocol, OLSR is particularly suitable for large and dense networks. In this docu-ment we will discuss how to develop OLSR to make the AD-HOC network intercommunicate with the IP network.And the most important is to give a concept of generalized AD-HOC network, which will draw a lot of attention during the following research.
