Abstract

Granular computing is a new intelligent computing theory based on partition of problem concepts.A decomposing method of granular space of decision table based on granular model of rough set is proposed.Furthermore, criteria conditions for attribution necessity and attribute reduction are developed in this model.Different ways for attribute reduction problem are compared between classical rough set theory and granular computing model.
