Evaluation of sustainable agricultural development in Fujian

Abstract

Based on sustainable development theory,an index system was built to measure the agricultural development in Fujian province.The data for these indicators from 1997 to 2008 were collected.The sustainable agricultural development in Fujian was evaluated by statistical analysis using principal component analysis.The results show that the year 2004 witnessed a significant change in Fujian's sustainable agricultural development situation in Fujian.
