Abstract

Based on the analysis of functions, characteristics and programming methods of Loadable Kernel Module of Linux system, this paper presents some ways to enhance system security by utilizing LKM's characteristics and to keep a lookout for the hachers taking advantage of LKM to intrude into the system.
