Abstract

The chirp-stepped frequency(SF)radar,a system with high range resolution, has advantages in imaging. In this paper, the wave-form characteristics of chirp-SF radar signals and the processing of one dimensional range images are analyzed with the aid of maths, and the basic principle of parameter design is presented.Emphases are put on the method of generating chirp-SF signals based on chirp waveform and the particular implementation.
