Mao Zedong Thought and the theoretical system of socialism with Chinese characteristics are two exclusively independent systems of theories.Mao Zedong Thought is the first theoretical contribution of Chinese Marxism.Its initiative position of theories and practices concerning the building of socialism and its great guiding significance cannot be denied.It should be analyzed and evaluated objectively and fairly.The theoretical system of socialism with Chinese characteristics is the succession,development and innovation of Mao Zedong Thought.Their theories and practices concerning the building of socialism belong to different systems and models.Their results of interactions between theories and practices also have different characteristics.
