Abstract

The paper analyses the business requirement and development of electric power communication ATM network, introduces the composition of ATM network, analyses the main issues such as construction of network topology, network management, the transmission rate and capacity, flux management and the capacity of self-healed etc, chiefly introduces the ATM network structure of electric power communication in Wuxi district. It also analyses the applications perspective of electric power communication ATM network, such as voice service, TV-conference, automatic real time service, Internet service and IP data service in Wuxi district.
