Abstract

Beijing Opera has been spreading in Shanxi for over 130 years. When we marvel at the artistic life of Beijing Opera, we also feel puzzled at its current condition of survival in this land of operas. This article analyzes the cause for Beijing Opera's spreading in Shanxi and its laws, which is of historical and practical significance for promoting Beijing Opera in Shanxi.
