Tactics of Development Zone Construction Under the Direction of the Theory of Garden City

The Garden City theory with more than 100 years old has an important guiding significance for the construction of new development zones.At present,the urban of China has some problems,such as continuous development and urban-rural separation.Based on the analysis of the core idea of garden theory and the study on the significance for development zone construction,the ideal composition including city group,city complex,urban green space system,urban agriculture,and rapid transit system of development zone and the developing tactics including city construction,industrial development,urban-rural integration,social management and policy formulation,were discussed.
