Atom transfer radical polymerization(ATRP) was an effective way to block copolymer synthesis.This article described the atom transfer radical polymerization(ATRP) and the basic principles of ATRP in the reaction system,experimental research program,and reviewed of the recent synthesis of block copolymers by ATRP research.
