Abstract
The toxicity and effects of different concentrations for two organotin compounds towards Scenedesmus obliquus were studied in this paper with CH3SnCl3 and(CH3)2SnCl2,respectively,as representatives. It also compared the different toxicity between CH3SnCl3 and(CH3)2SnCl2 towards Scenedesmus obliquus. The results showed that both CH3SnCl3 and(CH3)2SnCl2 had inhibiting effects to the growth of Scenedesmus obliquus at certain degrees. The effects increased with the increase of density of Se,moreover, the toxicity of(CH3)2SnCl2 exhibited a stronger ability than did that of CH3SnCl3.
