Abstract
A new multistage joint adaptive array and successive interference cancellation (AA-SIC) structure for a direct sequence code division multiple access (DS/CDMA) system are proposed. In the structure of the system, space, time processing and multiuser detection to improve the performance are utilized. Most structure needs RAKE combiner to capture the multipath, but the proposed structure needs no RAKE combiner and its adaptive algorithm has the function of RAKE combiner.
