Analysis of testing results of secondary water supply in Yinchuan city during 2007 to 2009

Abstract

Objective To analyze the hygienic quality monitor data of secondary water supply in Yinchuan from 2007 to 2009,know supply water sanitation status,provide scientific evidences for hygienic management and put forward proposals.Method According to Standard examination methods for drinking water(GB/T5750-2006) detected the secondary water supply from 2007 to 2009,the results were statistical analysis,evaluation by Drinking water sanitary standard(GB5749-2006).Results 1 010 water samples were detected,and the total eligible rate was 90.00%,it was 89.67%,83.39%,96.06% in 2007,2008,and 2009 respectively,there was statistical significance(χ2=27.24,P0.01).The eligible rate of water tank which were steel,stainless steel,cement,and glass steel of secondary water supply were 92.94%,77.31% and 87.68%,and statistical significance too(χ2=29.09,P0.01).Conclusions The low eligible rate of secondary water supply caused by turbidity.It was need to enhance the hygienic management to ensure people's health and safety of drinking water.
