Abstract
In this thesis,we present a method to construct approximately developable surfaces,which interpolate a set of points,based on minimizing the norm of the Gauss curvature.The thesis is organized as follows.The definition and basic results of developable surfaces are introduced.Moreover,the developable polynomial surfaces and parametric surfaces are introduced.Finally,the method to construct approximately developable surfaces which interpolate a set of points and some examples are presented
