Abstract

Objective To explore the value of uterine artery embolization(UAE) in treatment of cesarean scar pregnancy(CSP).Methods 51 cases of CSP were randomly divided into A group(26 cases) and B group(25 cases).A group was underwent curettage after intramuscular injection of MTX-line and B group was underwent curettage after UAE in the treatment.2 groups were compared in blood loss, hospital stay, time for blood HCG to normal and adverse reactions. Results The blood loss, hospital stay, time for blood HCG to normal of A group were higher than that of B group. The difference was statistically significant(P0.05).The adverse reactions between the two groups was no significant difference(P0.05).Conclusion UAE is an effective, safe and minimally invasive method with low risk of heavy bleeding for the treatment of CSP superior to curettage after intramuscular injection of MTX and has important clinical value.
