Abstract

Objective:To explore the positioning diagnostic value of MRU for ectopic ureter openings. Methods:Data of 7 cases of patients with ectopic ureter openings were reviewed and all these patients were examined by sonography, IVU, CT, MRU and so on. Results:No one got the diagnosis preoperatively by sonography and IVU. All cases had been accurately localized and diagnosed by MRU. Conclusions:MRU is of value in diagnosing ectopic ureter openings when the kidneys are nonvisualized or poorly visualized in IVU.
