Psychological research on regional culture of social identity

Social identity is a multi-disciplinary areas in sociology,anthropology,psychology and ethnology.Social identity of the current study is based on Tajfel's social identity theory proposed by the premise.The research on social identity studies generally combine quantitative research with qualitative analysis.As the formation of cultural identity is based on a certain culture,different cultures in the formation varies with regions,and cultural psychology is different because of different cultures.The analysis shows that the substance of final decision of whether to form the social identity lies in psychological differences of the regional cultures.The paper finally concludes that the psychological culture and social identity are a two-way construction process with the social identity as the core and the psychological differences of regional culture as the substance.
