Abstract
Both bisphenol A and (3 ) chloropropane oxide were synthesized to a condensed polymer bisphenol A epoxy resin in the presence of some catalysts. The results of experiments showed that bisphenol A low molecular weight epoxy resin of which oxirane value is 0.5 can be obtained, under the following conditions. The ratio of bisphenol A to (3 ) chloropropane oxide is 0.1, the concentration of sodium hydroxide is 28.57%, the reaction temperature is 65~75℃,the reaction time is 4.5 h, the mole ratio of chlorotrimethyl phenlid to bisphenol A is 1%.
