Abstract
Because copper hydrometallurgy can resolve the problem of SO 2 pollution to environment,make use of lean ore and complex ore,and reach comprehensive utilization of secondary resources,the hydometallurgical process for copper recovery has been developed quickly since 1970'5.At present,the copper recovered with hydrometallurgy makes up about 20% of the total copper production from minerals.The history,current situation development and outlook are presented in this paper.
