Governance of Modern Universities from the Polycentric Perspective

Abstract
In the light of the polycentric theory,it is not hard to reach the conclusion that the modernity of university governance agrees with the ideological basis of the polycentric theory.According to the latter,cooperation and consultation between different powers should be the main form of modern university governance.Therefore,the reform of modern university governance must demonstrate such polycentric characteristics in,including the prevention of power abuse by government,and the establishment of an open governance structure and a flexible coordination mechanism.
