Study on the Features of Rural Sewage Discharge in Taihu Lake Basin

Rural sewage has become one of important pollution sources in Taihu Lake Basin,owing to the low level of its collection and treatment.Nine peasant households(three with high income level,three with medium income level and three with low income level) were selected to study discharge amount of rural sewage and the influences from income level and different seasons,by in-door survey and sample analysis.The results showed that income level had significant influence on discharge amount of domestic wastewater and COD,manifesting high income level household medium income level household low income level household.Different seasons had no significant influence on discharge amount of rural domestic wastewater.
