Deterioration in Sino-Russia Relationship and Lost Theory in Mao Zedong's Later Years

From 1957 to 1976,Mao Zedong Thought experienced a circuitous development,whose trigger was the deterioration of Sino-Russia relationship.The dispute over Stalin's error between China and Russia resulted in Mao Zedong's change of understanding about the main contradiction in socialist China.Deterioration of Sino-Russia relationship deepened Mao Zedong's understanding about the harm of revisionism both at home and abroad.Khrushchev's withdrawal led to Mao Zedong's misunderstanding that China won the victory in the fight against revisionism and made him turn his attention to find the general representative of revisionism in China.He proposed the theory of continuing revolution under the leadership of proletariat which caused the Great Cultural Revolution,which is a lesson we should learn.
