A Brief Discussion on Complex Networks and Complexity

Abstract
Complex networks provide us a new view point for investigation of complex systems.This paper has briefly introduced the concepts on complex networks, its structure and function, and especially the features of small-world and scale-free networks. Then the empirical results on the protein-protein interaction networks are given. The theoretical implications of network research for exploring complexity are discussed.
