Abstract

Objective:To evaluate the diagnostic value of CT in primary gallbladder carcinoma. Methods :CT findings of 22 patients with gallbladder carcinoma were analyzed retrospectively. Results:Four types of gallbladder carcinoma were recognized:(1)Intraluminal mass of gallbladder accounted for 9.1%(2/22);(2)Thickening of the gallbladder wall accounted for 9.1%(2/22);(3)Infiltrating tumor accounted for 31.8%(7/22);(4)Mixture type accounted for 50%(11/22).Conclusion:CT findings of gallbladder carcinona have important significance in its diagnosis and differential diagnosis.
