Abstract
The effects of different soybean-maize intercropping patterns on the growth and yeild of maize and economic benefit per unit area were studied. The results showed that the yield of maize was the highest and the economic benefit was the biggest with the treatment Ⅲ.The suitable growing width was 150 cm.The narrow row spacing and wide row spacing of maize was 120 cm and 30 cm,respectively, and the planting spacing was 20 cm.The row number of soybean was four.
